The Swap Shop Program is open to all Garrett County residents and businesses. Individuals are encouraged to participate by leaving items in good condition for others or by taking items for oneself. Items may be dropped off at any of the seven conveniently located refuse & recycling sites; including the Landfill. A few examples of items left include: bicycles, lamps, chairs, books, electronics, picture frames, vacuum cleaners, bed frames, tables, toys, small kitchen wares, pots and pans and miscellaneous basement, garage and attic treasures.
All items are first come, first served.
If large bulk items or appliances are taken, do not work, and are returned to the refuse and recycling collection site or landfill, you are responsible for the bulk item fee for that item.
