As appointed County Administrator, Mr. Null is responsible for the day-to-day administration of County Government as its principle executive officer. He supervises and directs all government department heads, coordinates staff activities of all functions under the Board of County Commissioners’ jurisdiction, and acts as liaison and coordinates efforts with other State, Federal, County, and non-profit agencies.
Mr. Null, together with the Director of the Department of Financial Services, present a recommended fiscal year operating and capital budget to the Board of County Commissioners and serves as the lead County staff for the collective bargaining process.
Mr. Null assures that the Board of County Commissioners’ decisions are implemented, administers the various functions of government in accordance with laws, policies, and procedures promulgated by the Board of County Commissioners, and prepares policy recommendations for the Board’s approval and advises the Board in establishing long and short-term goals and objectives for the County.
Kevin G. Null was appointed as the County Administrator in 2015.
Mr. Null and his wife, Judy, reside in the County. They have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
