PLANNED 24 HOUR CLOSURES FOR BOILING SPRINGS AND FRICKS CROSSING ROADS
CSX Transportation will be performing maintenance and repair work to the railroad crossings at Boiling Springs and Fricks Crossing Roads, with work beginning Tuesday, August 1, 2023 and expected to continue through Friday, August 4, 2023.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
Reason for Closure: Maintenance/repair work to railroad crossings
Location of Closure: Railroad crossings at Boiling Springs and Fricks Crossing Roads
Closure Dates:
Boiling Springs Road and Fricks Crossing : Tuesday, August 1, 2023 through Friday, August 4, 2023 – 24 hour closure from 6 a.m. to approximately 11 p.m.
Alternate Routes for Traffic during closure period:
Route 135/Maryland Highway
PLEASE NOTE LENGTH OF CLOSURE WILL BE DEPENDENT ON TRACK TIME AND/OR EQUIPMENT OR WEATHER RELATED ISSUES
CSX WILL BE REPAIRING AND REPLACING PANELS AND PAVING THE CROSSING APPROACHES
TRAFFIC CONTROL WILL BE PROVIDED BY SAFETY SERVICES AND SUPPLY, INC.
