Garrett County Department of Public Works - Roads Division has announced that Savage River Road has been closed until further notice, due to high water. The closure location is at Westernport Road and Big Run Road.
An alternate route for traffic includes Twin Churches Road to New Germany Road to Big Run Road and vice versa.
