The Garrett County Department of Public Works - Roads Division has announced that bridge inspections will be taking place on the referenced dates, and will impact the following County roadways from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Wilson T. Ballard Company has scheduled the following inspection dates for the structures listed below:
Tuesday September 21 – Bridge No. G-0016 – Herrington Manor Road over Youghiogheny River
Wednesday September 22- G-0021 – Oakland –Sang Run Road over Deep Creek
Thursday September 23 – Bridge No. G-0064 - Sang Run Road over Youghiogheny River
In the event of inclement weather, the inspection make-up date will be the week of September 28-30, 2021.

Flagging operations will be taking place on these roads during this timeframe, and the public should expect delays and detours. The inspection schedule is subject to change due to weather or equipment issues, and any revisions to the schedule will be reported.
