The Board of Garrett County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Public Meeting Room - Room 209, 203 S. Fourth Street, Courthouse, Oakland, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting is to review and take public comment on the following ordinance(s):
Building Code ORDINANCE
AN ACT CONCERNING the Garrett County Building Code; FOR THE PURPOSE of adopting and implementing the 2021 International Building Code, Residential Code and Energy Conservation Code; providing for the scope, administration and implementation thereof; providing for inspection and other fees
Mechanical Code ORDINANCE
AN ACT CONCERNING the Garrett County Building Code FOR THE PURPOSE adopting The International Mechanical Code 2018 (herein referred to as the "Code") published by the International Code Council is made a part of this chapter with the same force and effect as though set out in full herein save and except such changes, amendments, revisions, deletions, substitutions and/or additions as are specified in this chapter.

Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund Ordinance
AN ACT CONCERNING the Garrett County Code; FOR THE PURPOSE of adopting and implementing Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund for Garrett County, Maryland; providing for the scope, administration and implementation thereof; providing for inspection and other fees; providing for protection against fires and the removal of fire hazards; providing a process to solicit projects for funding according to the Maryland Code, Alcohol Beverage §1-311(9)(1).
