The Governor’s Appointments Office is working on opening more opportunities for residents of District 1 (Garrett, Allegany and Washington counties) to serve on Governor Hogan’s Boards and Commissions. It’s very important for Western Maryland to be better represented on these entities as only residents of our region can provide their unique perspective on our local issues.
