Until April 24, 2023, the Department of Garrett County Solid Waste & Recycling is participating in an Agricultural Scrap Tire Drop-Off Event. The event is sponsored by MES/MDE.
Garrett County Farmers are encouraged to bring an unlimited amount of tires from their property for recycling to either the Landfill or Grantsville refuse & recycling site locations. We are accepting any size tires, on or off the rim, as long as they have come from a Garrett County farm property.
