The Board of Garrett County Commissioners has authorized, via resolution, to have the 2021 Garrett County tax sale held as an online auction.
The auction will be administered solely online at https://garrett.marylandtaxsale.com.
Dates to note are below:
- Registration Opens – Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
- Registration Closes – Friday, June 18, 2021 at Noon
Cannot bid unless registered by June 18, 2021
- Registration Fee Due (Refundable) – Friday, June 18, 2021 – Due by 4:00 p.m.
- Tax Sale Bidding Opens – Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
- Tax Sale Bidding Closes – Friday, June 25, 2021 –
Bidding is a staggered close with five property batches, each, at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and Noon
- Payments Due – Friday, June 25, 2021 by 4:00 p.m.
